Yeah, I've never seen SAO but I know its reputation. Consensus is SAO Abridged stopped being a parody around Episode 3 and is better understood as the Remastered Edition. :P It's TFS-tier quality from the start (even has a couple of their VAs); wholeheartedly recommended.

As to LT: between Inno's work ethic and closet racism I'm never paying money even if I did know how Patreon works, but I'll happily mooch her labour so long as it doesn't -actually- turn into plain-faced lolbertarian soapboxing. Design-wise it's still one of the best eRPGs out there, and thus far her personal politics haven't really intruded.
